Ford has launched a video series celebrating 50 years of the beloved sports car, Mustang.  The videos include a behind-the-scenes look at the Mustang 1 concept and the building of the 1 millionth Mustang.  See more of the series here.

Ford Escape Sets Sales Record

• New Ford Escape is the first-ever small utility to break the 150,000-vehicle salesmark through the first six months of the year
• Escape’s coastal sales were up 33 percent from January through May, based on Polk retail registration data; top trade-ins for Escape are coming from Honda and Toyota owners
• After adding a third shift, Louisville Assembly Plant – home of Escape – has built more vehicles in the first six months of the year than any Ford plant in North America

Ford Vehicles Named in J.D. Power APEAL Study

J.D. Power has named two Ford vehicles as tops in their categories for the 2013 APEAL Study.  The study evaluates what consumers like about their new vehicles after 90 days of ownership.  The 2013 Ford Mustang topped the Midsize Sporty Car category and the 2013 Ford F-250 / F-350 Super Duty topped the Large Heavy Duty Pickup category.
