Ford Collaborates to Research Sustainable Materials

Ford Collaborates on Sustainable Composite Material

Ford has collaborated with Heinz to research a new sustainable material made using tomato fibers, such as dried tomato skins.  After further durability research, this new sustainable composite material could be used in vehicle wiring brackets and storage bins.  Use of sustainable materials reduces the use of petrochemicals, leading to a reduced impact on the environment. Read more about it here.
