Engineers have managed to make the the tough-looking 2015 Ford F-150 the most aerodynamically efficient F-150 ever thanks to features like this:
- Flush-mounted windshield eliminates need for airflow-disturbing molding
- Tailgate top acts like a spoiler, catching air that flows off roof for reduced turbulence
- Cargo box is narrower than the cab for enhanced airflow
- Rear corners including taillamps are precisely angled
- A duct under the headlamp channels air through to the wheel housing reducing the wake generated from the wheel
