Ford Motor Company has received the Washington Automotive Press Association's Golden Gear Award. The honor recognizes Ford Motor Company's long history of commitment to engineering innovation. Founder Henry Ford was also honored for his mission to improve the automobile; a mission that continues at Ford Motor Company today.
