Small Change Leads to Improved Efficiency and Handling For 2018 Ford Mustang
It's amazing how a small change can lead to improved handling and efficiency on a vehicle. That's what happened with the 2018 Ford Mustang when an engineer added a piece of duct tape to the grille in an effort to create better dynamics during cornering. It worked! Read more about it here.
Engineers spent hundreds of hours on the aerodynamics of the 2018 Ford Mustang. That led to styling changes to the front end including:
*lowered nose
*larger front splitter for better downforce
*rocker shield that encourages better under car airflow
Active grille shutters are standard on Mustangs not equipped with Performance Pack. They allow the grille to be completely closed to create lower drag at higher speeds.
All of this means a more efficient and solid drive for 2018 Ford Mustang drivers! Contact Big Mike Naughton Ford in Aurora, Colorado for information on the 2018 Ford Mustang, including when you can get yours!
