Ford has invested an additional $25 million into the Kentucky Truck Assembly Plant to assist the dedicated workforce in producing a larger number of vehicles efficiently. The factory has implemented a variety of advanced manufacturing technology including a new 3D printer to create parts for tools plus 400 new robots which allow faster line speed. This allows the plant to reduce the need for employees to do jobs that lead to repetitive motion injuries.
