Ford Explorer Now Available With SelfSeal Tires

The all-new 2020 Ford Explorer is totally redesigned with an exciting variety of features.  One super feature is the available Michelin® SelfSeal® tires.  In fact, the Explorer will be the first SUV in the world to offer these innovative tires.  They work their magic thanks to an environmentally-friendly rubber sealant inside.  That lining can fill a variety of punctures which will slow the rate of the air leaking.  These self-seal tires can seal about 90 percent of tread punctures that are up to a quarter-inch in diameter.  This can help drivers to reach a safe place for a tire change, reducing dangerous roadside repairs and potential loss of vehicle control.  

These amazing new tires will be standard on the 2020 Ford Explorer Platinum and Explorer Limited Hybrid 4WD models.  It will also be an option for Explorer Limited 2WD and 4WD models.
