The 2014 Ford C-MAX Hybrid has been named an Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) Top Safety Pick.  The C-MAX Hybrid received a "good" rating in side crash, roof strength, restraint and seating evaluations.  The C-MAX Hybrid's standard safety equipment includes MyKey (R), AdvanceTrac (R) with Roll Stability Control (TM), driver and passenger airbags, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, safety canopy system, SOS Post Crash Alert System (TM), and a tire pressure monitoring system.
