Ford has revealed details of the 2016 Mustang GT which will be available later in 2015. The 2016 Mustang GT will offer standard hood vent turn signals. They were first offered on the 1967 Mustang and fans have been requesting their return for years! In addition, Ford will offer over-the-top racing stripes in black or silver.

California Special Package (available on Mustang GT Premium)-
- 19-inch ebony-painted machined aluminum wheels

- Unique aluminum dashboard finish featuring California Special badge
- Hood and side stripes
- Black pedestal spoiler
- Unique faux gas cap
- Strut tower brace featuring California Special badging
- Dark taillamp accents
- Black-painted mirrors & hood vents
- Performance front splitter
- Unique grille with tri-bar pony logo
