The new 2016 Ford F-150 is available in a few different trim levels such as:

Suspension

Production of CNG/ Propane-Capable 2016 Ford F-150 Begins

The first 2016 Ford F-150 capable of running on compressed natural gas (CNG) and propane has rolled off the assembly line at the Kansas City Assembly Plant.  The F-150 with gaseous-fuel prep option is the only light-duty pickup with the ability to run on CNG and propane.

Trailer Backup Assist Available on 2016 Ford F-150

The 2016 Ford F-150 will offer several exciting options including a trailer backup assist.  The available Pro Trailer Backup Assist makes backing up with a trailer or boat as easy as turning a knob.  The information provided by the driver turning the knob is used by the vehicle to control steering and limit vehicle speed.  This segment-first technology has taken almost ten years in development and testing!

Ford to Offer 2016 F-150 with Compressed Natural Gas / Propane Capability

Ford will offer a compressed natural gas / propane-capable 2016 F-150.  This will make Ford the only manufacturer of a CNG/ propane-capable half-ton pickup.  The 2016 F-150 will offer an available gaseous-fuel prep package on the 5.0-liter V8-powered models, enabling the vehicle to use compressed natural gas or propane.  The package includes upgraded intake and exhaust valves and valve seats to ensure the engine meets the standards customers expect from Built Ford Tough.
