Active Drive Assist Will Be Available on Ford Co-Pilot360 Technology in 2021

Ford Co-Pilot360 Active Drive Assist

Ford keeps introducing exciting technologies to provide drivers with a more relaxed and enjoyable driving experience.  Ford vehicles have a great selection of driver-assist technologies called Ford Co-Pilot360 available on many models.  Now, there is an innovative new addition to the Ford Co-Pilot360 system -- Active Drive Assist.

Active Drive Assist adds hands-free driving capability onto the list of abilities provided by Ford Co-Pilot360.  The hands-free driving ability is available for over 100,000 miles of divided highways across the United States and Canada.  Imagine how easy long road trips will be with this innovative technology!  Active Drive Assist is not a substitute for driver attention, so the system includes a driver-facing camera to gauge attentiveness.  The system monitors the driver's head position and eye gaze to ensure the driver is still attentive and ready to handle any situations that might arise.

The Active Drive Assist will be available on some 2021 models, including the Mustang Mach-E.  You can order the Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0 Prep Package to have the hardware included, then purchase the Active Drive Assist software when it is available later in 2021.  The prep package will also include Active Park Assist 2.0.  This newest version of park-assist technology gives a driver confidence when parking the vehicle.  You simply hold a button to activate the system to take control of parking in a variety of parking spots with ease.  It also has Park Out Assist to help a driver navigate out of a tight parking spot.

Along with these exciting new additions, the Ford Co-Pilot360 system includes automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, blind spot information system, rear backup camera, lane keeping system, and auto high beam lighting.  Together these features provide the driver with a more confident driving experience, no matter if you are taking on crowded Denver driving or a road trip to the Colorado mountains.

Contact Mike Naughton Ford in Aurora, CO for more information on these innovations, including how you can order your Mustang Mach-E with the Ford Co-Pilot360 2.0 Prep Package!

Ford Driver Assist Technology Reduces Driving Tensions

Ford Driver Assist Technologies

Driving can often be a very enjoyable experience, however, it can also be quite stressful, especially if you have a backseat driver in the vehicle.  Having constant input from a passenger can lead to tension which reduces the enjoyment of driving.  Now, there are technologies available in your Ford that aim to quiet those backseat drivers, allowing for a more peaceful and enjoyable drive.

Driver assist technologies such as Ford Co-Pilot360 Technology can help the driver navigate with confidence, without guidance or intervention from a passenger.  There are a variety of technologies that make up the Ford Co-Pilot 360 system, including a Blind Spot Information System with Cross Traffic Alert.  This system can help the driver notice vehicles that might be difficult to see in the blind spot.  The Lane Keeping System aims to help keep the vehicle safely in the lane of travel, reducing the potential of drifting out of your lane.  Automatic Emergency Braking with Pedestrian Detection can apply the brakes to avoid a collision with vehicles that are slowing in front of your vehicle.  Backing is made easier with the Rearview Camera to show you what is behind you while in reverse.

This innovative suite of technologies is standard or available on a variety of our car, truck, crossover, and SUV inventory on sale at Big Mike Naughton Ford in Aurora, CO.  Stop by our Denver area dealership and let us show you these technologies and more!
