The new 2016 Ford C-MAX Hybrid has two different trim levels – the Hybrid SE (MSRP $24,17) and the Hybrid SEL (MSRP $27,170). Both of the trim levels for the 2016 Ford C-MAX Hybrid come with a 2.0L Hyrbid Electric powertrain engine. It is a 2.0L I-4 Atkinson-cycle engine with an electric motor to generate up to a best-in-class 188 combined horsepower.

Transmission

The new 2016 Ford C-MAX Hybrid comes with an automatic eCVT, or electronically controlled continuously variable transmission, that delivers power from both the engine and electric motor to the wheels when you accelerate. The eCVT also helps to reduce the noticeable shifting to produce a seamless driving experience.

Suspension

Both of the trim levels for the 2016 Ford C-MAX Hyrbid have the same suspension types. The front suspension is a basic front stabilizer bar suspension. The rear suspension is an independent rear suspension.
